Today (yesterday?), July 31st, 2026, I had my last sleepover of the summer! School starts in just FOUR DAYS! Why did I take my whole summer for granted!? How weird is it to think that I'll be a sophomore in less than a week? To be honest, I feel like I'm totally wasting away my teen years! But what am I supposed to do? I don't have a license, and even if I did, I live in Sleepy Town Central (not really). I live in the most boring small town known to man. Anyway, I'm excited to see all my girls again! Mark my words; when I go back to school this year, I'm seriously going to be the coolest girl ever. I'm going to the mall soon, and I plan to hit up Hollister, Rue21, Victoria's Secret, Pacsun, Edikted, Garage... and the list goes on. Plus Depop. I've already started planning my outfits for the year. My style, I decided, is going to be really floral and shabby chic, inspired by my queen herself, Mallory Fig! I ADORE her style. I completely aspire to be as cool and cute and put-together as she is. I am a total Malfig girl. Oh my goodness, I am so upset. Originally, I was supposed to have colorguard practice on the second day of school, not the first, but our band directors moved it to the first day since they thought our show needed more practice! Which, yeah, it does, but why can't I have one day to myself? Seriously, if I have to do one more pas de chat, I think my feet are going to fall off. I spent 2 weeks of my summer at band camp, why can't I have one day? Anyway, if I write anything else, this post is going to be at least eight paragraphs long, so I'd better log off now before I'm sitting at my laptop typing all night long. Bye, my loves!

First post, yay!!!

Yay for Blogger.com! Today is July 29th, 2026. I am writing my very first entry on this site at 5:28 PM, and I want to make this post a good one. I think I'd like to start off this blog with a good old-fashioned introduction. So, who am I? Why did I want to start a blog? Is anyone even going to read this? My name is Moonykitty. Yes, that is my official government name. I'm 15 years old, and my goal in life is to bring back the 2000s! No, I wasn't even alive in the 2000s, no, that doesn't matter. I was lying in bed last night when it hit me: I should start a blog! Imagine it--a cold winters day in 2007, Pretty Little Liars is playing on the TV as you open up your iMac with a warm Starbucks peppermint mocha latte in your hand. You head to Blogger and spend hours scrolling through posts. Isn't that just soooo 2000s!? If I'm being honest, I don't think anyone is ever going to find this site. People my age don't read blogs anymore. But, maybe that's the beauty in this! I'm writing to nobody but myself on a site nobody goes on. Maybe that's a lie. I don't know how many people use Blogger. Hey, maybe someone will find this and teens will be inspired to start blogs, and go on Myspace, and do other early 2000s teen stuff. Ugh, I wish! I so envy teens from the 2000s. I mean, no guy would ever climb through my window to see me. All guys do now is like your Instagram story and get mad when you don't make the first move. I miss when guys weren't scared to be friends with girls. I miss when everybody actually got along! I seriously think I was born in the wrong generation. I'll wrap this little introduction up in a second, since to be so honest, I'm terrible at introductions. I feel so awkward! I don't think I'll proofread this, I'm scared I'll get too cringed out and refuse to post this, so I'll just accept the fact that this is probably very poorly written. Anyway, my main points are: My name is Moonykitty, I'm 15 years old, and I wish I was born in the early 2000s. Bye Loves! XOXO, Miss Moony!

(Like my little Gossip Girl outro? I do too. I think it's adorable.)
